Watchman
03:32
|
|||
Watchman, watchman, tell us of the night
What its signs of promise are
Traveller, o'er yon mountain's height
See that glory-beaming star?
Watchman, does its beauteous ray
Aught of hope or joy foretell?
Traveller, yes it brings the day,
Promised day of Israel
Watchman, watchman, tell us of the night
Higher yet that star ascends
Traveller, blessedness and light
Peace and truth its course portends
Watchman, will its beams alone
Gild the spot that gave them birth?
Traveller, ages are its own
See it burst o'er all the earth
Watchman, watchman, tell us of the night
For the morning seems to dawn
Traveller, darkness takes its flight
Doubt and terrors are withdrawn
Watchman, let they wanderings cease
Hie thee to thy quiet home
Traveller, Lo the Prince of Peace
Lo the son of God is come

Remember Your Creator
03:43
|
|||
Go eat your bread with joy, drink your wine with a merry heart
Let your garments be white, let not oil be lacking on your head
Enjoy time with the wife you love all the days of your life
Whatever your hand finds to do use all your might
The race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong
The bread is not for the wise all men are snared at an evil time
and chance happen to them all
The living have hope and the dead no more reward
So remember your creator in the days of your youth
Before the evil days come, you'll have no pleasure in them
The sun moon and stars are darkened
Rainclouds return again after the rain
The keepers of the house they tremble
The strong men are all bent down
The sound of grinding ceases
You'll still rise with the voice of a bird
The doors on the street are all shut
Those who look through the windows are dimmed
The daughters of song are brought low
They are afraid of that which is high
Fear is in the way
The almond tree blossoms and
The grasshopper drags itself along
And all desire will fail
Man is going to his eternal home
Mourners go about the streets
The silver cord is snapped
The golden bowl is broken,
The pitcher at the fountain, the wheel at the cistern
The dust returns to the earth as it was
The spirit returns to God above, to God above

Salt and Light
03:21
|
|||
You are the salt of the earth
If the salt has lost its taste, how shall it be restored?
You are the light of the world
A city set on a hill cannot be hidden
So in the same way
Let your light shine
So that others may see
And give our father glory

A Loud Voice
03:48
|
|||
A loud voice like a trumpet song
So you turn to where it's coming from
And then you'll see
He stood in the midst of the lampstand
One like the son of man
Seven stars in his right hand
A golden sash tied round his long robe
From his mouth comes a sharp two-edged sword
His hair white like wool or snow
Do not fear, he brings our reward
His face like the sun in its summertime strength
There'll be no more night
The living one who died but now's alive
He is the way of life
The fire in his eyes is burning
And the stars in his hand burning bright
His voice like the roar of many waters
O my lord, what a beautiful sight
Grace and peace from him who was and is to come
His feet refined in a furnace, burnished bronze
He's coming quickly it won't be long he won't be long
He's coming quickly it won't be long
His face like the sun in its summertime strength
There'll be no more night
The living one who died but now's alive
He is the way of life
He's coming in the clouds with his kingdom
Every eye shall see then
Even those who pierced him
He stood in the midst of the lampstands
One like of the son of man
Seven stars in his right hand

Whiteness
03:56
|
|||
The spirit of the Lord is upon me
For he's anointed me
To bring good news to the poor
And heal all broken hearts
To set the prisoners free
To proclaim the favour of the Lord
The vengeance of our God
To comfort those who mourn
To comfort those who mourn
In the Lord I will rejoice for he is just
He hates robbery and wrong
And he will recompense
And he will bless
With joy for everlong
We proclaim the favour of the Lord
The vengeance of our God
To comfort those who mourn, who mourn
He clothes us in robes of whiteness, in righteousness
He clothes us in robes of whiteness, in righteousness
He clothes us in robes of whiteness, in righteousness
He clothes us in robes of whiteness, in righteousness
There will be no more shame
There will be no more pain
There will be no more shame
There will be no more pain
For he clothes us in robes of whiteness, in righteousness
He clothes us in robes of whiteness, in righteousness
He clothes us in robes of whiteness, in righteousness
He clothes us in robes of whiteness, in righteousness
